Veada , which sells pontoon boat seats , advertises that seats that are ordered will be shipped within 2 to 3 weeks. However, they are not shipping for 8 weeks as their normal production time. Despite this, they continue to knowingly falsely state they ship in to 2 to 3 weeks on their website. Nor do they give any notice after an order placed of any delay.
This deliberately false promised production date means that it is nearly 2 1/2 months - rather 2 to 3 weeks - before people recieve their order which would wreck many people's vacation plans including our own.
We can only hope that they only mislead when the seats will be shipped by more than a month, and not many months or never.

As we build our boat furniture to order based on color selection here at our facility in Indiana, we currently have just over a 2 week lead time from order date to ship date. Transit after shipping is anywhere from 1-5 business days.
During peak season, our lead time will often be affected to keep up with demand until the peak of the season in June. As lead times are affected, the web, order confirmations and order update emails will reflect the lead time at that time.
On your order, you can expect the following updates from us - we want to keep you informed!
- Order confirmation emailed
- Email notification stating order has been charged and is in process
- Email notification of an estimated ship date
- Tracking number and carrier emailed the same afternoon as shipping. If shipped via freight to a residence, our shipping carrier will call you to set up a delivery appointment before delivery

I received my seats and could not be happier. They arrived on time and were exactly what i ordered. The staff at veada was very helpful and really followed up with phone calls and information when i asked. Imagine that, a company that does what they say and follows through! I am very proud to be able to purchase something still made here in america and have already recommended veada to my friends who are re-fitting their boats. Thank you from a very happy customer.

This is the second purchase I have made from Veada, the boat seats I bought in the summer were very nice. The shipping was very fast and came just about exactly as was quoted. I had them shipped to a local business and everything went perfectly. I really like the wide choice of colors and combinations and this was one reason for buying from Veada. This last purchase was a clearance item and was exactly what I wanted, very lucky. I would recommend buying from Veada to anyone.

This negative review doesn't make sense. We recently ordered two hi-back seats and two cushions. We were happy to be able to get them in the colors we wanted and the process was easy. We received them in the time promised and were very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the product. We did have one problem. The jump seat cushions did not fit with our backs, so I e-mailed customer service to see if we could order the jump seat base with only the backs since we already had the seat cushions. We were e-mailed back and told to take the two seat cushions we already had and use one for the back and one for the seat and see if that worked. It did and we just ordered two more seat cushions to fix our problem. You could have sold us a whole new base and we would have been happy, so I would say that they are a very honest company. I would recommend them hands down...
