Back in November I believe...my truck was hit by a small car while idling at a red light. I didn't have enough money for the deductible so I went online looking for possibly a good deal. I found Eclipse Auto Body online and saw that they will actually pay the deductible so I chose to check them out, he told me that should I bring it in the following Monday that it would be ready in a few days, no problem. I said thank you and went to two other merchants to check out other options. At the end of the day, Eclipse Auto Body was the only chose I could make, due to finances. The truck was done as promised on that Friday, however once I got there, saw that the truck had powder all of it, my windshield and both door windows were chipped and since this day, I have been unable to remove this powder substance from my bed liner and windows, upon entry to my truck I noticed that some of it was paint on my steering wheel and as well as on my windows and other odd places, sloppy...sloppy...sloppy! To add upon ALL of this----I went to turn on my radio and to this day it hasn't worked at all...turns out one of the workers decided to switch out the radios for a dead one...so you can add THEFT to this list. Oh, and also I smelled weed the day I picked up my truck over where they were repairing a vehicle. SO, in conclusion, if you need a repair done, sometimes a deal too good to be true is exactly that! They fixed my vehicle but never cleaned it up and it looked worse upon arrival then when it came in my opinion...I have paint in my cab and windows...had to repair all my windows besides the back window and replace my radio systems because the HIGH EMPLOYEES (THIEVES, LEGAL?) they hired STOLE mine by swapping out. (I knew I should have removed my faceplate, but I placed my trust into a company that broke that trust) PLEASE avoid Eclipse Auto Body in Phoenix, AZ.

False Report

AUTHOR: Eclipse auto body - Phoenix (U.S.A.)

I am surprised that this report was allowed to be posted as it is Direct Violation of the Report Guidelines; with that being said consider the following. I have never seen a powder substance that will attach itself to glass and cause its replacement, most anything will come off of glass, so the statement that the windows had to be replaced because of a powder substance seems false.

As for a stolen radio, it seems odd that a customer with an aftermarket radio (indicated by the detachable face remark) would think that a body shop would have on hand an exact duplicate of the customers working radio but only in a non working condition, then had the time to swap his working radio for a duplicate non working radio. All of this to save $50-$100 on a radio, I do not think so.

As for the blatant lie regarding the illegals, and weed smell; just like every other body shop in the world, our insurance prohibits customers from entering the work area. The statement that he smelled something in the work area is a fabrication.

This customer has used this service as a way to destroy the reputation of a long standing business. The statements made are not true and are a direct violation of the terms of this website. Please disregard all postings from this website.
