My car was totaled and K&B were handed the responsibility of all the repairs none were suffice. I had Items stolen and after a year their lack of Craftsmen ship has taken a toll.

My insurance company Nationwide considered them a blue ribbon shop ( I put no blame on them ). This all was an unfortunate event totaling out my car and I put all faith in K & B to fix my 91 mustang back to its original state.

Not only did it take ridding their backs to get the work finished. I had to endure personal epilog on how he was bummed out about an illness in the family. I understand that bad things can disrupt work ethic but this is a business and should be treated as one.

As one might understand my car has had lots of after market upgrades and this was also a distraction to the workers with aggressive offers to " Take it off my hands " to " Swap motors and parts for their cars " I was told that certain employees were acting like buzzards circling my car in the events I could not pay the tab.

The first problems I noticed upon receipt of my vehicle ( After Payment ) was that some parts not only had not been put in its proper places but they were just thrown into the back seat. A specific part under the hood around the Fram was a newly replaced piece that they did not install popularly. They broke off a bolt and left it exposed. All of the window dressing was missing or broken laying in the back seat. My $200 tack was stolen along with about 20 cd's. My radio no longer function at all. Seats stained with oil and what not.

It has been about a year now and the lack of their work is really showing the roof has cracked open and I am told it is where they did not properly seal their work. The hood is cracking. The hood want shut because the headlights don't match up. The hood was installed wrong had to be adjusted. Missing fog light covers. Also someone stole my alternator and replaced it with a bad one. I found this out after the broke down just 10 miles away from K & B and looking at receipts from the purchase of the one I had put on it did not match the part number or model. The car rattles now and I am sure in time more incompetency will show its self.

I did try talking to him over the phone but all sales were final and I did not want to get into a tug of war over it any longer than necessary. I only write this report not for compensation ( $4000 ) but in hope that someone will get a heads up and take their business somewhere else. If it has done that I am happy. I have deterred many from using them just by showing them my car.

Some one has purposely issued a complete false story.  Why would a insurance company repair a 1991 mustang?  This story is complete false. We guarantee our workmanship for lifetime. We will not be a direct repair for major insurance companies if business was conducted in this manner.

I am so glad that  K & B saw this. It pleases me that someone might heed my warning. I rest assured that I have encouraged a few of my friends to use another body shop. I really did not put much faith in Ripoff Report and did not even think of following up on my post but I am glad I did. I will be posting pictures of the car for all to see once I figure out how to on here. The proof is in the pudding. Once again I was never an employee and my car has done nothing but  worsen over the years. Trust me The owner has no clue what goes on in his shop. Also the worst part of all this is, not only did he deny that items were stolen from my car on retrieval of said Mustang. He never once on here offered to make right his wrong. I was in the process of talking to a REAL body shop about fixing their monumental screwup thats what made me check back. This is far from over. I will scream at the top of my lungs to anyone I know how awful and useless K & B is. I frequently bring it up in conversations. It's a running joke that I bring it up too much but I am serious when I say K & B Pissed me off greatly with their lack of concern for a customer....

Very happy with the service

I am responding to the report about how bad the person was treated by K&B. I would like to take the time and respond and give K&B some credit where credit is deserved. My family has been using K&B for numerous of years and have no problem at all with the work they perform.  Every vehicle has been fix to original condition before an accident. I currently have a vehicle in the shop with them now. At this time I have no concern what so ever that my vehicle will not come out like it should. They take pride in the craftmenship of their work. When I got the estitmate from K&B I was please with the price. They are not there to rip you off or your insurance company.

It is very funny that no one else has put a dissatisified report from the company. My advice to the person about having things stolen out of the vehicle. Anytime you put your car in any shop you always have to make sure you take out what you consider valuable to you so you do not run into the problem of have things stolen. That is common sense. Yes, everyone wants to trust problem in this world but that is just in the case now a days.

If you are discruntaly employee of this place of buisness. My word of advice to you. Never burn bridges you never know when you might need them again for something.

K&B I will return everytime my car or families car needs repair.

Very poor grammar/spelling used in this complaint.  Owner of the 1991 Mustang is undoubtedly white trash from Red Bank (who else would own such a vehicle and put "expensive" things in it).  I am astounded that he/she has computer skills, let alone access to a computer.  Perhaps the vehicle is falling apart because it is 20 years old homey.

I am extremely happy to report that K & B are now working to resolve all issues that I previously presented in this article. I was contacted by the owner himself about how much this situation has bothered him over the years. I admit I never expected to get the issue resolved, I just wanted to vent my frustrations but with persistence on the part of the owner he tracked me down and is ( As I type this addition ) working to solve the problems. I will keep you updated as to the full outcome. Thanks ....
