Book Net LTD rip-off Irvine California

A man came to my door and asked me to buy magazines to help him pay for college. The nice soul that I am said okay. The next day I decided I didn't want the magazines. So I canceled in writing within the 3 days like it says on the back of the receipt.

On 8-15-01 I wrote a third letter explaining that on 5-19-01 a man by the name of Ross Rader camed and took my order. They wrote back saying that I needed to send my cancelled check. They also wanted me to send the receipt. I did not send the receipt or the cancelled check because they put the check into the bank electronically in Tenn. So I could not send them a cancelled check.

Next, I was told to send them my bank statement. Who are they kidding? I did not and will not send them that bank statement.

I also had my lawyer send them a letter and they didn't even respond to her.

I am still waiting for my $20.00 to be returned to me.
