Consolidated Media Service contacted me with an offer for the purchase of some leading womens' magazines. I was interested in Good Housekeeping, Womans Day, Country Living and Garden Design. Agreed to the purchase of these and gave them my credit card number. They ended up charging my credit card $449.28 for a total of TEN magazines--five of which are of no interest to me.

I contacted the company and asked if I could exchange the five magazines I didn't purchase and didn't want to magazines of interest to me. Well, the only magazines I could change were the four that I wanted in the first place. The others were "complementary", and therefore, could not be cancelled or replaced. What a ripoff!!
