I ordered a magazine subscription from Mags for Less back in August of 2006. They said the first issue would mail in approximately 4 - 12 weeks. 17 weeks later I had not received the first issue.

I contacted Mags for Less customer service department in December and inquired about the status of the magazine. I received an email from someone named Meagen in the Customer Support department saying she had identified the problem. She apolgized and said she resubmitted the order directly with the magazine publisher and that I would be receiving the magazine withing 4 -12 weeks.

By March, I still had not received the magazine. I sent another email to Meagen asking about the status and explained that it had been 6 months since I originally placed the order. I then asked for a refund.

She replied to my email and said there was a problem processing my order and that I should see the refund posted to my account within 4-5 business days. She then said she was sorry to say that my order could not be resubmitted...that the price of the magazine had been raised by the publisher and they were unable to honor the old price but I could reorder the magazine by visiting www.magsforless.com.

A month later I still had not received the refund. I contacted Meagan again and then again a month after that (six weeks after she said I would be refunded) but never received a response back from her. I tried one more time to contact the company in May but have still never heard from anyone.

I am EXTREMELY disapointed with the way this company has handled this entire situation...or I guess has NOT handled this situation. Be warned...I would NOT do business with this company.

I FINALLY got a refund!

Per someone else's update report, I got an email address for someone else that works at Mags for Less - Kim@magsforless.com. I contacted Kim, who was happy to help, and said I would receive a refund check within 10 - 12 days. I received the refund within a week. I encourage you to contact Kim if you are waiting on a refund!
