Mailbox Magazines Fraud Magazine Company Tamarac Florida

I was contacted by Mailbox Magazine in the guise of partnering with Publisher's Clearinghouse to notify me that I was a finalist in the sweepstakes. I fell for it! (Only later to find out through searching the web that Publisher's Clearinghouse no longer is in the business of magazine subscriptions). Anyway, they contacted me and told me that as a finalist, I would be receiving a womens diamond watch and 3 magazines of my choice, of course from a list of magazines THEY have and a 4th one at a 'discounted' price, to 'help' to defray costs of only $59.80 for a 5 year subscription. While on the phone with this woman, she told me that once the order was placed, it would be NON-CANCELLABLE. (That's illegal!) I immediately told her NOT to place the order because I couldn't afford it, and not only that, but I didn't WANT it. She had already placed the order and told me to think about. She was able to change the price for me but couldn't cancel my order. I started to think about this and it was going to cost too much for this so did a little research on the web and found the magazine company had been reported on this website as being a fraud. I too realized, that I had been scammed. My story is almost exactly what I read in her story. I then went to my bank and asked them to cancel my debit card and my bank was going to research this for me. I then asked my bank for another debit charge so they can't get anymore money from me. I have since been harassed by mail and calls advising me that they want their money. I advised them that they are a rip off and they are not going to get a dime from me. I also told them to take me to court because other people have reported them as well. They claim that the Better Business Bureau has stated they are a good company but when I checked they had a C rating and plenty of compliants. I feel so stupid to be taken by this company. I've have since mailed back the cheap watch they sent which maybe had one diamond you couldn't even see. They need to be put out of business by the governing entities in their State of Tamarac, Florida.
