Universal Subscription Agency ripoff Richmond Virginia

My husband and I were scammed by 2 girls who were talking about beating the boys to win a trip to Cancun. I was leary from the start because they kept contradicting themselves, but it seemed like a good cause. I found this website and decided that I better put a stop payment on the checks. Be careful out there.

Buying magazines from mag crew kids can be risky even though it should be far from that. It is possible you may get your subscriptions. But I promise you over paid.

I dont understand, where were you ripped off. a boy sold you a magazine and as soon as he left you already felt ripped off? dont you know if you call the publishers directly to order your magazine it will take 8-10weeks to get your magazine started? maybe you should 1st wait the normal time to allow your magazine to show up before filing this report, 90% of reports on this website are bogus, I mean common, you cant just file a report before actually being ripped off. get a life and stop lieing to people!!!! all you did was buy a magazine and the person said thanks and left, so wheres the rip off? is it the fact that it was door-to-door? so if thats the case and you dont agreee with door-to-door sales its fine to just say no, dont just buy it and complain you got ripped off 2 minutes later. damn you people here complaining on this website are stupid I mean look at most rip off reports on this website, i dont think most people were even ripped off......

Ye say wait 6 to 8 weeks for magazine to arrive,well here is a news flash mate,I payed for my subscription 7/8/05 and have yet to recieve a magazine and thats after I cancelled the subscription due to I got laid off,I was told by the young man I had 3 weeks to cancel if I chose,well the young man had cashed my check the day after I asked him to wait 1 week because at that time there was no money in my acct,he said by company policy they wait 3 weeks before the check would be cashed,tis blarney,so instead of paying $72.00 for the subscription I had cancelled I paid $147.00 for something I've yet to get!

I checked with the BBB in Las Vegas and there have been reported complaints like mine about this company!

That is my cuppance.
