Banana Bana Baby Took my money, never sent books Atlanta Georgia

In late 2006 I sent a picture of my son to them. I received an email stating that the picture was selected for their new book. We were very excited and ordered 3 of the books to give to the grandparents as a Christmas gift. I sent them $133.40 via paypal and have not seen a penny, nor the books since.

I have sent many an email, contacted the FTC, local Atlanta law enforcement (but they are about as responsive as the company, glad I don't need them for anything else!) and the BBB. I also received an email from someone in the Attorney Generals office from the state of Georgia. This was all in mid 2007. I still have not heard what is going on nor about my refund.

I have now found out their website is suspended. So as for now I have written off my $133 and those books.

This is the short version of my story, there are many more things that happened with these people and the lies they told me.

I'm glad to see that no more people will be taken advantage of because of this "southern family" business.

ALWAYS! ALWAYS! research a company before sending them money. Unfortunately with this company there was no "bad" information about them so I know a lot of us got taken. I just hope that justice will prevail and these people will pay for taking advantage of all of us.
