BOMC Book of the Month Club Refused to honor their own contract and will not release me. Rantoul, Illinois

I joined the Book of the Month Club over a year ago and not only did I fulfill my end of the contract but bought more then they required.

Three months ago, I asked them to cancel my account. They have been charging me $10.62 every month so bottom line is that these so called free books cost me over $120.

I had an account with them when I was younger and it was all good. When I fulfilled my required end of the contract I cancelled the account because I didn't have a desire to continue due to health issues.

My husband is very  ill and I am now (since joining) disabled so this is at least one prescription a month they are stealing from me by not doing what I requested a few months ago. Closing the account is no where to be found on their website! If anyone can find a working phone number please call them and give them a piece of reality!

I would imagine many older people buy from them and can't figure out how to end this madness. It really burns me.
