MBSDirect Fraudlent Returns Policy Internet, Internet

I purchased an item one term early and after dropping the class, before it began, and with the item still in original shrink-wrap, MBSDirect would not accept a return of a new product still being used by the Partner School for the current term. 

I was addressed several times by first name over the phone and in email correspondence, without a title such as Mr. Mrs. or Ms. It was very unprofessional. 

The return policy of this company is misleading and fraudlent as the packing notice indicated the customer can return the item 14 days after the start date of the term. However, I was told I could not return the item because of a MBSDirect computer application limitation to correctly identify the right term.  Obviously, I know which the class term for which I ordered the item. This is a "Gotcha" technique.

My first encounter with this company was negative. It recommended purchase of certain items for the class that were not needed.  I had to return those as well.  MBSDirect's products are overpriced. I highly recommend using Chegg, Amazon, or any other company for College books, etc.
