i walked in the store with a bag of merch to sell.the manger gave me prices i didn't except them they were to low.
these were my sons dvd's and cd's'
the manager then asked if i had a receipt, where i bought them (walmart),but why would i have the receipts they were played and bought weeks ago.he then said i looked shady and didn't like me simply because my looks.i told him i was a fye member he had my phone and license on file, what was the problem.i had shopped there many times.he once again said i ws shady and he didn't trust me.once again he judged me from my looks.
this is a bulls**t way to be treated because of your looks and to be told i don't like you or trust you.
i'll be watching you he said.

I am sorry this has happened to you. We CANNOT change the prices of the DVD's or CD's that come up on the screen. It is the company that makes them up, not the manager. I use to work there and even I thought the prices were pathetic(price that they give the people who bring back their movies, not the prices that they sell at)
Yes, they have your information on file, but they also have whether you are flagged or not. Being flagged means that you should be on watch when we buy YOUR movies back or possibly not even buy them back! We have the option of taking back movies or CD's. It will be our merchandise taken away, and money out of our pocket if they are stolen goods! How would you like it if I brought newer merchandise to you business, and said for you to give me money for it?
The way you look should have nothing to do with this. I am sorry you were accused of because of the way you looked. But that might have not been the only reason. I worked for the company for 2 and a half year, and that was not the way I was taught to work. Those were the managers who trained me.

My looks are not an issue. I am hispanic and look somewhat like it. I have been tailed in stores because I was young and had a purse! Was that offensive to me, no because i understood why they did it. I was a possible threat just like anyone else that would walk into the store. It is not discrimination. it's the store watching it's back.
