I was watching a movie on tv and a commercial came on for the Shirley Temple DVD Collection, so I called the number. The operator informed me that i could make two monthly payments of $24.99. So the first payment would be for $24.99 for the DVD's itself, plus $5.95 shipping and handling. The operator also said for and addtional $6.00 i could get the dvd's in 3 days as opposed to 3 weeks, so i went for it.
I checked my credit card statement today to make sure there were no discrepancies and to my shock I found that GAI* GT MEDIA INC had charged my card for $99.75. I called my credit card company so I could dispute the charges and they also informed me that GT Media Inc had also tried to charge an additional $43 dollars and some odd change but under a different but very similar company name that was also from the same area in Colorado.

wow, i decided to try the number for GAI GT Media Inc. that wasn't working at all last week. To my amazement, someone actually answered the phone. I informed the operator that they overcharged my credit card without my authorization and she proceeded to tell me that I was charged for something called the ready , set , go machine. I told her that's not even what i ordered so how did they get my credit card info. she said because i ordered that machine, so after a few heated moments of arguing, i demanded to speak with her supervisor. again i had to explain to the supervisor that i was charged 99.75 which i did not authorize and that what i ordered was the dvd collection and not some electric grill machine. Again to my amazement, the supervisor said that she would go ahead and refund my card and i should receive the money in 3 to 5 business days. I will update you all when and if I get my money back. All i can say is buyer beware, you really can't tell who you can and can't trust anymore.
