NXCESS SALES LLC : SCAM PHOENIX , Arizona

Two young men came to my door, selling children books.  Although there were two, one did all the talking. The 20-something year old male told me that  me that his mom lived in the next street over, and walked her black labrador everyday around the neighborhood.

He told me how he was attending a nearby college and was trying to earn money for a trip.  He continued to tell me that by buying the books, I would get a $20.00 dollar gift certificate for every set of books I bought. He also told me that I didn't need to worry about the shipping because his mom was taking care of that, since she knew how hard it was for people to want to even buy stuff from kids. (I should have known, that when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is!)

I had just had my son, and maybe I was over tired, but their story seemed okay, and I thought my toddler could use some books, so I offered to buy a set, but the man said I had to buy two sets, because it was one for him and one for his partner, and that's when I started to hesitate, but my mother-in-law offered to buy the other set.  So between the both of us we spent about $110.00.

Did I ever get the books? NO! 8 Weeks later I recieved one book, that wasn't even in the sets we ordered.  When I tried to contact the company, there was no phone number, just some address in Phoenix, Arizona.  I started to research the company, and realized that other people had been scammed.
