David's Bridal sells customer information, has bad customer service Feasterville Pennsylvania

I went to David's Bridal hoping to find the perfect wedding dress. Instead I got a whole lot of hassle.

When I first arrived, they handed me a page to fill out so they could put me in their file. I gave them my name, e-mail address, phone number, etc.

Soon after, I began receiving e-mail after e-mail from wedding related services. I am often woken up by phone calls from florists and photographers. I receive advertisements in the mail as well.

The kicker for me was when I was contacted by a scam, and almost fell for it. I got a phone call one night, a man told me that I had won a vacation from World Adventures Travel. He wanted me to attend a "bridal show" in order to pick it up. They included big company names, such as Kodak, to make it sound read. An hour before my fiance and I planned to leave to pick up our "free vacation", I googled them. I was lucky! I could have lost some serious money to these people. Other people that received calls from this scam also had given David's Bridal their information, and believed it had come from them.

So, I went back to David's Bridal hoping to just pick up the dress I bought, have it altered and be done with it. As I put on my dress for my alteration appointment, I realized it was two sizes too small. They had given me the wrong size.

I told an associate, who promptly brought me a replacement dress- straight off the shelves, with makeup stains inside and out. I took the dress back out to them and asked them to order me a new one.

I had to reschedule my alteration appointment. I am still waiting on the new dress.

When I looked on their website for a phone number to file a complaint with corporate, there wasn't one.

That said, I did find a dress that I love (though I still don't have it). If you use David's Bridal, don't give them your personal information!
