House of Brides- Wedding Couture from Hell!

Last February, as I helped my cousin coordinate her wedding, we decided to purchase the bridesmaids dresses at the House of Brides in Oak Lawn, IL. An event which was supposed to have been a joyous occasion turned into an event from hell. We decided to tell HOB's that the wedding date was actually two weeks before the actual to avoid unforseen problems. HA! So much for stratigic planning. The dresses came in three days before the wedding and we couldn't have our personal people alter the dresses and since it was last minute neither could they. The lost my sister's dress, got an attitude when she demanded that they find her dress, and since my sister made a stink (which was well deserved I believe)they gave her the dress of one of the other bridesmaids in the wedding and she had to wear an entirely different dress at the same cost, so this bridesmaid was upset so they told her my sister took the dress, then accused her of not paying for her deposit which was a lie because you cannot order or try on a dress unless you put down over a hundred dollars towards the dress. No apology, no discount only attitude and accusations. Thank God the bridal dress was purchased someplace else. So to all future brides out there don't go to the HOUSE OF BRIDES in Oak Lawn, IL. Oops, I forgot to mention three brides who ordered their dresses from there, dresses weren't ready and had to pick one from the racks at the same cost of the dresses they ordered. The HOB refuses to take responsibility for their mistakes. What a tacky way to run a business!
