My wedding was May 1, 2004 in kokomo, IN and we live in Tipton, IN. I had 3 bridemaids and 1 flower girl. Surgar N Spice was having this 'Big' Sale for January 1, 2004. So the girls and I got together and looked around. The girls found an Alexia dress. Style 1900. We ordered the dresses. We paid $170-180 a dress. We were also told that we had to pay ext4ra for 'bigger' sizes. My biggest girl was a 20!!!

We were also told 6-8 weeks for delivery. The dresses came in March 31, 2004!!! All the dresses were the wrong sizes at that. So on top of $170, we had to pay $35 for alterations!!!! All the dresses, including the flower girls, were suppose to be altered and ready for pick on April 17.

We all got together and had another fitting for April 17. NONE of the dresses were finished!!!! They did the flower girls while we were waiting and didn't even hem it correctly. They hemmed the inside skirt but not the outside. Now, she was still tripping on it so what was the point?????

On top of all this, Diana, the owner, was being very rude and treated us like we had no clue what we were talking about. She was the one that measured them to begin with!!!!!!!!! On April 22, 2004, 2 of the bridesmaid had another fitting and they finished them there so the flowergirl's dress and their dresses were able to come home. My matron of honor didn't have her fitting until April 24th!!!!!! Thank god her dress was finally done.

On top of all this, I bought a tiara on January 1. the stones started falling out of it. So i took it back and asked them to fix it. I was told by Danielle that they couldn't fix and and she couldn't get that style anymore so i picked out another on on April 2.

On April 10, I was asked again which one I wanted to replace the one they couldn't fix!! Danielle had written it on my folder the first time. I FINALLY got my tiara on April 24th, when my matron of honor picked up her dress.

They are VERY unorganized and no one seems to know much of what's going on. Diana is very rude and they said it wasn't their fault but the manufacturers. what was the point of getting measured if they were going to order the wrong sizes anyway?? I complained but they shrugged it off. We all live in different cities in IN. Myself, the flower girl, and 1 bridesmaid had an 1- 1 1/2 hr drive ONE way each time we went to try ont he dresses. They didn't seem to care!!! Not only was our time lost because of their mistakes, we were also rushing to make sure everything got here in time because they told us wrong!!!

Beware when ordering. Make sure you check and double check. Keep on them to get everything in. I called every week or 2 to check on things. Although it didn't seem to help my case. Hopefully other people won't have the same problems!!!
