I have a legitimate trademark I have claimed in connection with my business. BuyDomains.com has the trademark registered as a domain name and is trying to sell it for over $2,000!!!! The name is so unique outside of a company who has that name (ME) who would want it, nobody and they tell me the best deal they could give me is $1,600 if i wanted to buy it today.
Can anybody say Bad Faith Registration. But I am too small to afford to pay them and too small to afford to get a lawyer to sue them. And the few lawyers I have talked to say domain names and trademarks are not clearcut cases and no one would take the case on commission.

a little over 10 years ago I owned a domain name representing my business. I didn't set autorenew on my account with the domain host but relized and tried to pay it immediately only to find out that Buydomains.com scooped it up the second it expired.
They have had this domain for sale for $5000 for the past 10 years! ( I have had it on back order ever since.)
When I tried to communicate with them the person I communicated with through email was very cold and said there was nothing I can do unless its trademarked then they can reduce the price lol ???
I really hope that some justice is done here. I really need my domain back and it clearly hasn't sold in over 10 years. there needs to be some kind of time frame that companies like this can sit on a domain.
Its just not right, especially if you have a trademark. I was thinking about paying the $800 to do it myself but after reading this Id rather not waste it. Really frustrating that these business can continue to operate for so long.
