I just noticed this malicious and slanderous post that has no merit or truth whatsoever.  I will say up front that I will not only be responding to this slander, but will be seeking legal advice from my attorney on how to handle this ridiculous post.  Someone is going to answer for this. 

I am a telecom reseller who has been in the business for 8 years.   I deal with some of the largest resellers and distributors of telecommunications gear in the country.   I have developed a reputation of doing what is right for my many customers, of which almost all are repeat customers of many years.  

 I recently purchased a telecommunications shelf and modules from Agent Orange, who is apparently a guy named Shawn VanEeckhoutte, of Steadione Sales,  from California.   Shawn had a listing on Craigslist which I responded to and made an offer.  For security purposes, I insisted on Paypal, which I use almost daily, and offers buyer protection. After paying Shawn $1,390.00 on Jan 23rd, he contacted me the next day and said someone had broken into his warehouse and stolen only the items I was buying from him.  I told him I wanted an immediate refund, but he said he couldn't do that.  After getting excuses, I decided to file a dispute with Paypal.  That made Shawn very angry, as could be determined by his emails.  I finally got Paypal to refund the money into my account on Feb 2nd, 10 days after I had paid him. 

It is a shame that anyone can post anything about another person or business, especially if it is totally false and slanderous.  Thankfully, there are legal repercussions for those who think they can do that.  Be sure that this post will have further action to make sure it does not happen again.  Thank you for reading my rebuttal.  Eddie Scurlock, owner of Malachi Communications.   

This company has made accusations about me offering to sell items to him and then cancelling his order to sell to someone else. We told them we don't do business like this! The company has since Apologized for their accusations and this report will be removed soon.

Once again, Shawn has made false and slanderous remarks that I do not intend to let slide.  He has defamed my reputation which I have worked hard to build over 8 years in business.   Any suggestion I made about him selling the items to another buyer was done in a personal email to him, and not for thousands to view and make misinformed opinions about.  I told him in an email that I was sorry it did not work out, which is only good business, and before I found his slanderous post online. 
I've done nothing to apologize for and have done nothing wrong.   He held up my money for 10 days and paid me only after Paypal got involved, and still claims that there was some sort of theft of just my one item while leaving everything else in his warehouse alone.  I still have justified doubts about that, and would like to see the police report that I'm sure my attorney will subpoena.  

Again, none of our correspondence was posted for the public to see, but was for personal communication between me and him only, to try to get at the bottom of what happened.   Anyone who is intersted in contacting me to get more information can do so at any time.  

I have a great reputation in this business which I can back up with many references, and am still very surprised that this man would have the nerve to post these false and defaming remarks.  I'm also surprised that a website will allow someone to post false and slanderous statements with no regard to what is the truth.  There has to be a line somewhere between free speech and the publication of false and slanderous information.  Eddie Scurlock, owner of Malachi Communications, 850-352-1000
