I was referred to Brian Boodram/ Premier Mortgage by the realtor I was working with. From the begining I knew something was up when I asked for a approval letter and he sent me a preapproval letter!!! He said the preapproval letter was standard and I would get the approval once my information was verified.
After a 3 week process my contract was about to expire, the next thing I know is that I am signing docs at a lot higher interest rate and origination fee???? I asked about the increase in the rate and cost and he told me it was not his fault, that the lenders rates fluctuate. He told me that that it worked out better for me to pay a higher rate because of tax purposes??? I was forced to sign, it was either sign or lose the house!!

I don't think you were ripped off. Your comment about a preapproval letter is NORMAL. All lenders give out a preapproval before they can give a approval letter. The approval comes from underwriting once everything is verified.

This has gone too far. I'm sure the site had great intentions when created, but now this has become a slander game. Anyone can post anything about anyone and it is not regulated. How true are some of these accusations. Did Brian Boodram really do what is stated? Does Brian Boodram really exist. Did Brian Boodram write this himself to fit in? Who knows? The hype was there, but now that the smoke has cleared, the hype is gone. Is this really what we want left behind? Haven't we suffered enough?
