Premier Financial Securities Inc. Mailed me a check Midland Ontario Canada

I was sent a letter telling me that I was the winner of the SHOPPERS SWEEPSTAKES held on september 5th, 2008 in the second category. They supposedly had made several attempts to contact me to tell me I had won $250,000.00 and that it was part of $5 million shared among 20 winners.

My claim number had been assigned to thier North American Claims Affiliate. They gave me a check in the letter for $4890.00 to be cashed from Peoples Heritage Savings Bank,1 Portland Sq, Portland, ME 04112. I looked up the bank and it turned out the bank was real, just in a different, but similar, zip code. I read a similar report on this site that listed a similar claim, just a different company. My company was Premier Securities Inc. at 100 Medical Center Drivr, Biddeford, Main 04005-0626. The guys name on the check was Bob Morris and he wanted me to send them a check for $2985 for taxes by MONEYGRAM or WESTERN UNION. The letter was a rip and I reported the scam to the FBI.
