To all my friends,

You all know me as axhandlebill,I'm a 100% disabled Veteran and I don't get any overtime pay or investment pay or any extra money, I'm on a fixed income, Right? Ok, this Quicken loans riped me off for $400.00, I know its not much but the fact is I called them 2 days after I agreed to go with them on a loan they said nobody could beat! wrong, the company I had my house with already called me the next day and beat quicken loans by 1 1/2 %. that allot. so I sent a fax an email and called them to stop the application for the loan......they said OK, then about four days go by and a appraisor called me and asked me what time would be good for me, I said the loan i had already stopped, she said I'm always the last to know and said OK... so I called Quicken loans and they said, by the FHA law w they had to return my money , well its been almost 3 months now and no Money??? then I got a call from them saying they would return my money minus there exspenses?? I said what exspenses I stoped the loan 2 days after they got my money for the deposit.
NOW, I need everyone help, everyone please pass this on and give it to all the old and the young people you know don't leave anyone out, if yopu ever wanted to help a veteran now is the time to come to my aid

deposit

AUTHOR: Real World - Somewere (U.S.A.)

So you go to a dealer to buy a car and put a deposit on the car to hold the car that clearly has in writing the deposit agreement. The next day you find another dealer who has the same car maybe for less.Do you think the first dealer will give your deposit back that you gave them to hold your car that they could have sold to someone else?

#5 Consumer Suggestion

What type of refinance were you doing?

AUTHOR: Yeswecan - Ada (U.S.A.)

Mr. Axhandlebill,

If you are a veteran, than was your original loan a VA loan (the one you refinanced?) If so, was Quicken doing a VA IRRRL (streamline) refinance for you? If the answer is yes, then a credit report and appraisal would not have been needed. It looks like Quicken kept money out of your deposit for the credit report, but if they were doing the VA IRRRL refi for you, no credit report should have been run. The full deposit should have been given back to you.
