D R HORTON increasing the quartly HOA fees from $110.00 per qtr to 192.00 per qtr Fairfax Virginia

the HOA at the Villages of Rippon Landing in Woodbridge, virginia is operated by D. R. Horton the builder in our community. They control every seat on the board of which each member is a D R Horton employee.

At a so called community meeting on 7/30/08 we were told that they will stay in control of the board until the year 2023, or until building is finished and D R HORTON no longer hold the majority.

I fyou plan on buying I home in one of their communities you had better check all the HOA rules before you buy or you may have the same issues we do in our community, a few good examples are, not paving your parking lots or not numbeing you assigned parking spaces in a townhome community. not providing handicap/wheelchair access to sidewalks in front of your townhome or the ramp to get off the sidewalks.
