Merchant account was cancelled due to large chargeback from credit company where a client of the company was looking for a freebie by putting in a negative report and refusing to pay for the merchandise which was charged on their credit card. I called First Data to return the merchandise however they will not allow an early termination of their contract and will automatically withdraw the rental funds of $29.94 for the full contract term of 48 months. If we refuse to pay, First Data will put in a negative report on personal credit report, putting my cradit rating at risk.
