Forecast Homes are Rip Off Artist

We closed on our house in February of 1999. From the start we had nothing but problems from Forecast homes. To begin, electrical problems. We had no power going to two rooms because the line was cut. Forecast had someone go in and rewire. They told us the previous electrician was fired due to their incompetence. The (new) electrician informed us they had to go back on just about all the homes in our area to fix the last electricians mistakes. Both bathrooms were so unlevel the comodes tilted. They had to pull up the flooring and re-pour the concrete. This is all happening after we moved in and complained for months. At that time so many things were wrong and nothing was getting done we put lemon signs in our yard. At that time the subdivision wasn't complete and it was interferring with their sales so they immediately got things done. Now we are experiencing many more problems and no-one will respond. I have called,sent letters, etc. Our kitchen sink was leaking because they did'nt seal it properly and now we have damage to our cabinets. Our master bedroom is about 15 - 20 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. Our paint is pealing off the front of our house around our garage door. Our lights keep blowing in our master bathroom. They still havn't repaired the damages to the baseboards in the two bathrooms where they repaired the unlevel floor. Tiles on our roof are broken because of their painters. The hall bath sqeals every time you turn the shower on. The list continues to go on. Many people in our neighborhood are having the same problems. SOME ARE WORSE< A LOT WORSE. Also, our doorbell has been replaced two times and it still doesn't work.
If I were asked about Forecast Homes I would definitely tell everyone not to purchase a Forecast home unless they want nothing but heartache. This was our first home purchase and it's been nothing but a nightmare. If you would like to contact us our email address is mskinner@uswest.net
