Joshua Bruno Bruno, Inc., Metrowide Apartments, Downtown Development Group, Riverview Apts., St. Ann Place Apts., Washington Gardens, Washington Place, Crescent City Collection Contractor's Nightmare. Won't Pay. New Orleans, Louisiana

On March 28, 2011 a contract was signed between my company and Joshua Bruno to provide lawn/landscape services for the companies listed above. Not one month did his company ever pay according to terms set in contract, but if there was a problem with service it was life or death for me to fix it. I sent invoices to him for services performed on November 2,2011 and it is now Jan 26,2012 and still no payment. After numerous emails to him and "my contact" at his company with no response, Josh emailed me with a list of complaints in mid-December. Remember now, this is a month and a half after initial invoice. All of the complAints were bogus except for one I would give him a discount on. Still no checks!

 Then on Jan 2 he tells me that the checks would be mailed. Still no checks. Next I send him an email stating that if he doesn't send checks I am going to report him to BBB and the HBA, which we are both members. And he responds,"lol, don't threaten me." still no checks. After a few more emails I'm giving up on trying to get paid. It's only a thousand dollars, but in the winter that money is really needed. It isn't enough money to take him to court though and he knows that. Mr. Bruno, when you read this, and one day you will. You can keep screwing honest people over and thinking you can get away with it. But one day you will learn your lesson in a hard way. The people of this city will have enough and figure out that your nothing more than a phony.
