Matt Janes, Legacy Lake Homes Breach of contract Ketchum, Oklahoma

Greetings!

I am Shelley Janes the sole owner of Legacy Lake Homes, LLC here in Cleora, OK. I recently received a report of my company being fraudulantly reported by a consumer in WA state. I know who this person is, and the facts are absolutely not correct in his report. My husband used to have Matt Janes Construction in WA state in which this person tried to sue him, after trying to part trade as payment, a piece of property that he di not own. Upon realization of this, my husband refused to pay for materials on the value of $ 65,000.00, which was the value of the property due to him.

For the final truth and fact which my attorneys would be happy to provide to you, his attempt at sueing did not prevail. WHen we moved to Oklahoma, he attempted again, and without any facts to stand on, accepted a $ 15,000.00 payoff to go away, with our attorneys advise. Now $15,000 is a far cry from the original $ 65,000 farce of a suit, and I have the cashiers check to prove this as well. This person is an angry, bold face liar who was called so on the stand by the judge. He will go to extreme lengths to continue this in which is so very old.

My largest point is he is naming, MY company now. I am the sole proprioter of Legacy Lake Homes, LLC and have a very strong reputation here in Oklahoma in which I have earned with great respect over the past five years her. And the move to OK, was as simple as taking a look at the economy that is still going strong here. This is slander of MY personal name and complete fraud, and I hope you take a look at the facts in order to remove MY company and it's name and reputation from your site. I believe in these sites, but, I also know the laws against slander and invalid reports that cause harm to you or your company resulting in more legal issues.

I have no idea who Shelley Janes is writing about.  I successfully sued Matt Janes and collected from his bond.  I can well imagine how difficult it must be for the Janes to keep straight all of the lawsuits against them.  She says that they paid $15,000.00 to another plaintiff who was "...without any facts to stand on...".  You don't pay someone $15,000.00 if they have no facts to stand on.

It's not surprising that his business is in her name.  It certainly makes unsatisfied judgments against him more difficult to collect.

Matt Janes has caused a great deal of pain and financial hardship to many of his victims.  Bad things happen when you deal with bad people, and Matt Janes' long record of bad behavior speaks for itself.
