A lot of people have complained about MRI on this site. I would like to add mine. I bought an apartment in Bansko Bulgaria off plan with completion date of Dec 2008. They said you could get a mortgage for 60%, I put up the 40%. That was a lie for a start. Through Capitial Financial Partners and Legal Independence (their recommended partners) I had a battle to get a mortgage. Eventually I did, after taking a year and I had put up some more money. With rising exchange rate of Sterling to Euro this has been costly. Recently I got the deeds.
This is where it really hurts and where MRI try to extract more money. Having paid £5000 (over 7000 Euros) for a furniture pack from MRI (over a year and half ago) they now say I have to pay 20% Vat on this. That comes to over £1400 Pounds Sterling. I have tried to reason with them but they claim that they just got hit with this Vat Bill from the authorities. How convenient. Anybody else got this extra charge. Stay away from this company they are just money grabbers.

Many people call MRI crooks. The truth is They really are criminals. Consider the facts.
They took money via credit card for furniture they never bought/refuse to deliver. That is International credit card fraud.
They took money via bank transfers from one country to another for furniture they never bought/refuse to deliver. That is International bank/wire transfer fraud.
They then transferred this illegally obtained money, using the international banking system. That is International Money Laundering.
They forced many people into paying an extra 20% for illegal VAT. The Bulgaria government and the British Embassy have both publicly stated this is extortion and fraud.

. They sold their own development that could not physically be built on the land they owned. That is premeditated and intentional Real Estate Fraud.
Don’t just write MPs, MEPs, or the BBC.
Contact your credit card company or bank and tell them you are a victim of fraud. And tell them you are filing criminal charges and demand their support.
Go to your local police and file an official complaint in the UK or Ireland ..
CONTACT INTERPOL, the fraud division and file criminal charges against MRI and personally against all the Directors.(web link

They are criminals, put them in jail. Think of the impact it would have if 1000 citizens of Ireland and the UK all made official complaints to these police organizations.
Do you think it is fair for Darragh and his cohorts to sail off into the sunset with jets and yachts on your hard earned money? I don’t.
