I am not sure what these persons are talking about. I never had any dealings with these people. I think this whole website is defunct.

Not sure why they post false information but they do and it sux when you are a businessman trying to make a living in the world. This website should really check their facts before just posting any random comments.

I was also ripped off by Patrick Carpenter Aka Carpenter Contracting. But don't go by the name. I am pretty sure he is using alias. Go by the picture on his website. That is definitely the guy that ripped me off. Like the previous consumer, he just took my cash that was advanced and he never returned. For me, he did not even bothered picking up the phone. I called him every day for 4 days. Then when I called from another phone - he picked up. When I told him who I was he hung up.

Basically he took my money, did nothing, and then avoided me.

He did the exact same thing to me and my family just last week. I would NEVER suggest using this idiot for any work that you need done. He will only rob you and avoid your calls. He did an estimate at our home and then asked for half of the money up front. We wrote him a check, which he IMMEDIATELY cashed and he NEVER showed back up to actually do the work! He won't answer phone calls, texts, or emails. And the one time he did reply to a text, it was some lame excuse and he "promised" to show up the next day to do the work. Do you think he actually showed? NOPE! I'll be taking this SOB to court. And soon!

I strongly encourage anyone that this bozo has ripped off to file against him. He doesn't deserve to keep doing this to innocent, hard working people.

The last rebutter is obviously are well versed in Ripoff Reports, because he made his own post here, so why would he not have seen the other reports on this contractor before hiring him just last week? Have any of you pressed charges yet? Do your state laws allow contractors X amount of time to provide a service prepaid for before they can be charged with fraud?

This guy also took my money and ran.  He did some of the work....maybe 20% of the job  and left my backyard a complete disaster.  I hired him to install two retaining walls, install some crown molding, and install some supports on the deck.  He ONLY tore up the yard, put up about 20% of the retaining wall and did a horribly sloppy job on the little bit of work he did do.   He never did any of the trim work or supports for the deck.

The mortar work was just terrible.  I have plenty of photos of the way he left my yard and the condition things were left in.  He got paid basically for more than the original estimate as he kept asking for progress payments immediately after he started the job.  He'll tell you that the estimate does not include supplies or materials when he starts asking for more money.   He'll tell you the job will only take a week, then only work two days and come up with excuses why he hasn't shown up.  When he doesn't show up to do the job, he'll have some lame excuses or that he has some kind of heart condition.   I don't believe a word this guy says.  He also told me he was previously a nurse and graduated from Brookhaven, but I couldn't find anyone with his name under the state licensing board with his name.  If he ever was, it was under a different name.

If someone could post his license plate number or any other information, it would be helpful for those of us who are trying to prosecute.  Please make sure if you have a complaint, that you also file with the BBB Better Business Bureau and you can also file with the Attorney General's office. We may never be able to track this guy down as I have a feeling he might be getting out of Dodge with all the people he has ripped off!

I am a local business owner here in Ohio and came across an add for air duct cleaning in my area by a new company called OHIO AIR CARE LLC and was curious about the LOW prices they advertised and doing research found the business filing was under the same name as MATT PFLEGING who was mentioned in this company registry.

This is a fairly new company and has a lot of the same equipment and industry technicians that his previous company had.
I am concerned for the consumers locally and wanted to point out to who was looking for him, he could possibly be in ohio now. I know this was about 6 months ago and could have already been resolved but thought it was worth writing about.
