If you want to save yourself from buyer's remorse, do not buy a home from Lennar or Patriot homes. They hire contractors who use second rate products, they rush you to close on your home so that you don't notice any mistakes (which there is plenty of) and they are not responsive to these errors.

When we bought our homes which was not only pricey, it was suppose to be their best model, we noticed things we expected them to address in the one year walk through. When that time came, they supposedly addressed those issues but shortly after the same problems came up again at the spots they addressed. Not only that, after living in this home for a year, we had plumbing problems but most notable HVAC issues.

Every year for the past 4 years, we have completed about this issue and it is still a problem. There are so many things that we have fixed on our own. Imagine, this is suppose to be their top of the line model.

I would caution anyone who wants to build with Patriot/Lennar not to build if the last thing you want to do after spending a lot of money on your home is to immediately start thinking of home renovations. Especially being that they stay with the same contractors, the same ones who put in sub par products.

A home is a very expensive and salary consuming debt, make sure you build with the right company. Goes to sure how poorly built our house was, I felt compelled to write this critique after four years of extra money lost in fixing up this home. And by the way, I called the contractor, Master HVAC to come and fix our unit once again and this time paid, and guess what, we are basking in some heat once again. They just came 2 months ago.
