It is my complaint that these poeple ran a monoply or collusion of sort. As a result, I suffered a cardiac arrest. I have on going expenses from repeated test for an implanted pacemaker/defribulator, the direct result of the cardiac arrest. I also have medical bills from the hospital and doctors that medicaid and medicare did not pay for completely. I also had expenses I paid for storage fees that should not have been, if I had moved when told to me by Amcore Bank.
My expected date was 10-01-2005 and my first payment was scheduled for 12-01-2005, according to Mr. Dan Conroy of Amcore Bank Mortgage Co. Although there was no obvious reason, I did not close the deal on this house until 08-22-2006. I was promised several new dates and had shelled out over $!,000.00 and should have had to pay only $720.00 to pay everything. Also Amcore Bank changed my interest rate on my loan.
This cardiac arrest was stress related and my only stress was this house and it's problems. Now that I am in it, it has been plauged with one problem after another that never should have been.
The first problem was noticed the last part of August and there are problems still on going now. There have been several complaints that were all founded necessary. I would not think so much about it if my neighbors were not having the same issues and more too. We don't know what to do, but want satisfaction. HUD, is letting them get away with this because, they don't know, and it is not being investigated.

Contact the Office of the Comptroller of Currency, FINRA, BBB, and Office of Banks and Real Estate. In fact, if you go the the Office Comptroller of Currency you will find that enforcement actions have been taken against Amcore for some what was referred to in the report as "Unsound Banking Practices." File a complaint, at all places- which you can do online. If reports keep coming in, soon someone will raise an eyebrow.....
