Triple Concrete Or N.i.c. Construction ripoff, dishonest, poor business ethics Oak Ridges Ontario

Two years ago i had a walk way installed by Nick Imeneo. This was July 2002. The nest spring i noticed some deterioration. I attempted to reach him to no avail. Then after a few message he returned my call. After a few weeks and no Nick I phone again. This time speaking with him, he said that he would come and see. A few weeks later he came and agreed that the walkways where in bad shape. He suggested that I give him more money to fix the problem. i refused. He said that he wanted to keep good business with me and would see what he could do. He explained about using bad concrete which he received from Dominion Concrete. He said that he had a letter from them informing him that they where no longer in business . I in good faith believed nick and did not insist on seing the letter. I'm still not sure that he received his supply from this company just believed him because he seemed so honest. He said that he would be intouch with me, and if I would sign somewhere anywhere to show that he did indeed explain to me the fact that he received bad concrete. Once again I trusted him and signed.
Not being able to reach Nick and over the winter months the walkway further deteriorated. This spring I attempted to call Nick once again. On the second attemp I did reach him he assured me that his insurance company was looking into it and that he would get an answer in one month. Well I waited 6 weeks and called nick, leaving a message as there was no answer at either phone numbers. A week later i tried again this time getting nick. He said that he hadnt heard from his insurance company yet and that he could not touch the project as per there order. Nick refused to come and look at the crumbeling walkway. He said that it was not his problem and that I should have paid money last year to have it repair. It was over a year and not his responsibility. He said that they only are responsible for labor not materials. Now he says that or the $4000 that it cost me to have the walkway put in he only made $400. The job was done by 2 of his employees. Now he says that i am not to call him and harass him and that my walkway is my problem. And suggested that I do what ever it takes. And to go and waste whatever money on a lawyer or whatever. I suggested that he repair my walkway or refund my money he said that I was treatening him.. I have contacted a lawyer.
