ARtisan Iron Products Jim Webster Ongoing lies about iron door order Tulsa, Oklahoma

I would like to be shown proof that you paid me as you say almost $6,000.00. In early October I was contacted by a Richard Winslow which is with Building Innovation which at the time was with Wall Solutions Supply, but Richard Winslow has never had any association to or with Artisan Iron Products other than to contact us for a estimate and to this day I have never met. We provided a quote for a door @ $2,554.62 plus estimated freight of $241.34 to be paid by Richard Winslow. After several weeks and changes he did finally sign off on a door and after that paid me only $1,397.98  total  which was 2 weeks later from when I told him that I needed the deposit to order the door. I have provided copies of the cancelled check and invoice to whom I assume wrote this STORY which is James Stiteler of James Stiteler Construction of Bluffton,SC. I have all correspondence from James Stiteler stating that he paid Richard Winslow $5,800.00 to order a door that he was told was going to be $8,000.00  

  When it came time to deliver the unit the 1st time Richard Winslow informed us not to deliver to the job site or even have any contact with the builder (James Stiteler) as had been planned because James Stiteler owed him (Richard Winslow) almost $30,000.00 and had for several months and wanted to hold the door for leverage for total payment. He also informed us that James Stiteler was over budget by $150,000.00 and that his investors had shutoff his funding and he was afraid that he would never get paid. Then James Stiteler started emailing myself and I informed him that they need to work something out between the two of them and I informed him why. He then proceeds to inform me that Richard Winslow has over charging him on our door as well as the painter and he has never owed Richard Winslow more that $6,100 has he was holding this until he received cabinet parts for Richard Winslow. James Stiteler has stated in an email that I have that he knows that Artisan Iron Products doesn't owe him the $5800.00 that he paid Richard Winslow and I have all the correspondence to back any of what I have stated. I received an email from Richard Winslow on March the 23th @ 8:03 pm asking for his deposit back of $1,397.98 which has been refunded and had been offered twice before since I didn't want to be in between this ongoing fight from what Richard Winslow said was his friend.

The original report is the absolute truth. I was working with artisan iron for months. I was fed this whole story about this 'growing' company, and wasted a ton of time and effort working with them. I was also told some lies about where Jim Webster lives. He said that he has a brand new house in a new south Tulsa neighborhood. Come to find out, he's been renting the same house for 15 years! Why lie about where you live? It just adds to the lack of character this man has. After months of being given the run around (much like many stories I have heard), he disappeared out of thin air. He has never to be heard from again. I have lost about 1,000 because of him, but I'm lucky compared to the others. Don't take your chances! You'll get a lot of very believable excuses, you'll lose money, and waste your time.
