In September of 2011 my wife purchased 1050 sq feet of hardwood flooring. In 12 days company delivered 10 cases out of 47 with the explaination that the others were going back because they got wet. Owner promised over and over again that the balance would be in a "couple" of days. Finally after threats to cancel order got 10 more cases with the promise that the balance would be on "the next truck, the following day". The flooring never came. I was forced to pay another month's rent because I could not get into my new home for lack of floors. I could not go to closing on the house because it was not finished because it did not have floors.

The owner promised I would get my refund in a couple of days. Never happened. He when said his policy was to sent refunds within 30 days. Never happened. After numerous calls, emails and threats he sent 1 check for less than 1/3 of what he owed. He sent a personal written promise to pay the balance of what was owed  (half by 12/31/2011 and the othe rhalf by 01/15/2012). Never happened.

I have had to hire a laywer at my expense to get my refund. I will see if I can file a criminal complaint against the ower for fraud.
