We have just paid a legitimate builder more than $21,000 to rip off our 2 year old siding, and to take the exterior sheathing off to find out why our kitchen was always getting drafts that felt like a window was open.
The horror story of having this bad insulation company as the culprit for the many insulation issues we discovered after moving into our newly remodeled home cannot be described in full detail in this report-- but suffice to say that we have spent many hours of our free time and many thousands of dollars repairing the bad job that this company did.
We could not take out our kitchen to get to the interior walls, so we had to take the more sensible route of going from the exterior.
What our new builder found was nearly NOTHING in the way of insulation. The bats of insulation were scant, and incomplete in the walls, and some areas had NOT any insulation at all!
How this passed inspection is questionable and does NOT show the inspector in charge nor the builder on duty at that time to be of any quality or even have a moral, ethical compass whatsoever.
For the past three summers since we have been in the house since the renovation, we have had to address different parts of the house that have been discovered to have badly installed insulation performed by an untrained group.
The arrogance from this company is another story. They did not want to hear about any wrongdoing, and when we questioned the very things that did not look right over three years ago to the manager--- we were dismissed and told everything was fine.
This company is not to be trusted.
Consumers, spend your money with a competent, ethical company that will not cost you the many thousands that this company has cost us.
I am thankful for this ability to get the much needed truth to the other innocent consumers who would not have access to this historical information otherwise.
