Rock Tops, Inc Paid in full for granite... company bankrupt 3 days later. Where's my money?? West Chester Ohio

My husband and I visited the showroom for Rock Tops, Inc in West Chester, OH and picked out a wonderful granite for our newly remodeled home. We have a large kitchen, so the final price of our stone was approx $6000. We paid 50% by check at the time of the sale. On December 16, 2008 I met with the staff from Rock Tops to get the final measure. At the time of the final measure, we paid the remaining 50% balance- also by check.

Today, January 10, 2009 I received a letter from McDonald Hopkins Attourneys, stating that Rock Tops has gone out of business and they were unable to complete all orders. We did not receive our granite, and both of our checks were cashed by Rock Tops, Inc. Per record from the bank, our final check was cashed on 12/18/08, one day prior to the company declaring bankruptcy. To all those affected by this, good luck. I hope that together we can successfully obtain our desired outcomes.
