I had the misfortune of dealing with Dean Macias when I was seeking quotes for services for my home. At first, he told me he would cost over $10,000, so I decided to look elsewhere. Suddenly, he was able to drastically bring his prices down to closer to $2000 for the same work!! So, how much was he over charging to begin with?? I thought that was a little sketchy.

All he did was e-mail me a price quote and draw a picture (maybe - he never sent it me a picture, so I have no proof) of what the project could look like. Ultimately, I decided to go with something different for my home project. I gave him the professional courtesy of declining his offer, instead of leaving him hanging. That's when things got really bizarre!

At odd hours of the morning, he sent me e-mails first begging me to reconsider with even more competitive pricing, then attacking me personally for not awarding him my business.

In addition to this temper tantrum about not getting the sale,  he alleged that my intentions were wrong and my behavior was "sinful" - just because I chose something else!

I again tried to respond professionally, and he further attempted to berate me. I decided to find out who this crazy person was, and I found posts from him trolling the internet looking for homosexual sex! I'm not judging, but how ironic that he'd accuse me of sin considering the promiscuous exploits he posts in public for the world to see. What kind of professional uses the same e-mail address for his business that he uses to hook up with guys on the "large penis gallery"?? I have dealt with many contractors and consultants, in addition to the fact that I am self-employed, but I have never encountered someone so unprofessional! I am so grateful that I declined his offer because it gave me the chance to see his true, unprofessional, bizarre and disrespectful colors! Good riddance!
