I hired him for a job and he dissappeared.  Plain and simple theft, John F Weaver had his cohort, Christian D. Ellis accept the check.  Please report them to local law enforcement if you have been victimized.  Also, they pretend that they are a licensed contractor, but they are not they are running around providing a business license and showing prospects a "satisfied customer" list - after calling some of his best clients even THEY aren't happy!

I used John for a couple of small jobs. The first one went fine. The second one was delayed twice, and at one point he asked for the second half of the payment prior to starting the job if I wanted to speed things up, telling me that a lady from NY had paid him with a bad check. I declined and opted to wait and the job was completed eventually. In the interim I referred him to my friend who provided him with a $900 deposit in May. The job has still not begun. And yes, it is 11/12. Many excuses. Ducking of calls. Eloquent emails. Stay away. Also check Hillsborough County arrest lookup and you will see that John has been charged several times with what appears to be passing bad checks. I've no doubt John does decent work, and witnessed two small jobs firsthand that went fairly well. He came well recommended. But something is up with this guy, in my opinion. And my friend is suffering because of this. Don't be next.
