Xavier Ponton poses as a wealthy representative of a group of investors. He normally establishes a romantic relationship with a woman who he can use to add credibility to his financial crime. (unknowingly).  He is extremely convincing and is willing to meet with banks, principals and others to make guarantees to purchase a business or land that he never intends to fulfill. He flies all over the world, at the investors expense, allegedly meeting with principals to finalize deal. It is all a scam and once suspicion is aroused or he is unable to delay any further, he disappears and ceases all contact including the woman he unwittingly involved in his crime.
