The letter is official looking and is confusingly similar to the layout for the Statement of Information that must be filed each year with the State of California.

I received a letter from a company called "Compliance Annual Minutes Board" in which they are asked to pay an "annual fee" of $150. The sender's address is P.O. Box 9011 Temecula, CA 92589.

I send them a check and they cash it right a way.

now, I find out that it was a scam.

too bad the personal info on the scammer behind this is not posted on the net along with their pictures, then when ever they are out in public they could be subject to humilation ( 0r worse)
