I have read half a dozen reports here at RipoffReport after receiving my sixth (annoying) contact from IPA people.

I told the first phone solicitation fellow no.
The consultant turned up the following day. I met him outside.
He seemed pleasant and I told him no.

Each successive day, I've answered calls (in spite of seeing their name on caller ID) which was silly.

They've been rude and abusive, suggesting I was incompetent and that there's no exlcusive on good ideas. I even told them that I'd very recently been through a successful BD consulatation and was happily implementing the recommendations of that firm.

My experience is very similar to others who've posted, as customers, but I have not given them an inch on which to bill me.

Examples I've heard about their consultant is in the area and it'll be "at their risk" which I presumed to mean at their cost (but is it the same)?

Next time they call, I'll tell them I plan to start recording the conversation and ask if that's OK with them. If they say no, then I'll hang up.

I really feel for those who've been taken for a song.
The one guy I met seemed pleasant enouhg.

The phone style is abhorrent to me.

The pitch definitely comes on "I'm not trying to sell you anything"
You're not interested in new ideas or growth?
What if I could show you a way to .....

I think I'll tell them I've posted here and plan to blog every move they make, if they continue.
