This business owner is self-promoting and is only skilled at networking his name all over the web; oh, and he is able to erase any negative reviews on Yelp, so if you need that service, you may want to consider using him. He promises anything to retain the client, and charged me $120 an hour without being able to account for his time which is common practice when charging those rates. His web design consists of template software and if you look at all of his work, you will clearly be able to see that. When I retained Zack Katz in August of 2008, I clearly stated particular parameters I wanted for my website. He promised his ability to fulfill those 2 simple requests I had, but when he delivered the first set of designs, he ignored both my requests. I gave him a deposit of $3000, and was only able to get a partial refund although legally I think he was required to give me a full refund. I payed $1120 for 3 cookie-cutter template pages and a cut & paste proposal. He is unscrupulous and has questionable business practices. His unprofessionalism and ineptitude was even more apparent to me when I googled my name and found my cut & paste proposal he made for us on the world wide web for all to see. There are millions of graphic designers in the U.S. that are capable of doing what Zack Katz can do. Using a graphic design student would be less expensive and just as competent, if not more, than using Zack Katz of Zack Katz Web services in Lakewood, Colorado.
