Sean London contacted our business and offered us his company's service to locate and prescreen prospective clients/business opportunities. Having used companies such as this in the past with fair results, and having taken his bait (hook, line, and sinker) we engaged Mr. London and paid him $10,000 up front. As time passed we received referrals that were not even close to the quality and parameters we had required. When the referrals stopped coming in all we could get from London was run-around. After months of listening to his constant tap dancing and excuses we simply informed him that we wished to discontinue our relationship and requested that he refund our money. He told us in no uncertain terms that he does not issue refunds. We threatened to take legal action if he would not comply, as he had clearly breached his agreement to us. His response was "Knock yourself out!"
Ultimately we turned this matter over to our attorney and filed suit. Because of Mr. London's elusive nature we were forced to hire a skip-tracer to locate him. The notice of service of process fell on deaf ears and Mr. London (and Pro-Active Referrals, London's Insurance Solutions, London's Insurance Services) never answered our lawsuit. After the required amount of time, we petitioned the court for a Default Judgment, which we were awarded.
At present we have received no communication from Sean London or his various companies, despite repeated requests. We have a judgment in hand which has now been sent to a collections attorney for enforcement.
In short...Sean London runs one of the oldest and most lucrative Marketing scams. We should have caught on to the nature of this when we were required to fax a copy of the signed agreement, check, and FedEx Overnight tracking number before we sent it.
Be forewarned...This guy will sell you on the premise that his services will pay for themselves in no time and that he can increase your revenue stream. This is all lies and bs. The only result in engaging Sean London, (Pro-Active Referrals, London's Insurance Services, London's Insurance Solutions or any of the other DBAs that he has concocted since our suit) has been tantamount to throwing thousands of dollars of cash and man-hours in to a virtual black hole.
Sean, if you are reading this, congratulations....You threw one by us. We do not expect to ever recover our money and we certainly will never recoup our time, but if by writing this I save one more innocent party from becoming your next victim, I will have accomplished my purpose.
