McFarland Consulting ripoff, promised over $5000.00 government grant. Champlain New York

I was lucky. I went to my bank on the same day that I called up McFarland Consulting in Champlain, New York and had given them all my banking info.

I asked the teller why a company would need to know my routing# and account# from my checks to do a transaction but would not accept my debit card info as payment instead. She asked me who?

When I told her the company name she called her supervisor and he apparently looked them up online because he had the teller send me to his office so we could close out that account and open a new one to stop McFarland from ripping me off for $289.00.

HOW do you stop these crooks from taking advantage of people? Their 3"x5" GREEN postcard is very official looking. I hope this helps someone else keep from getting ripped off.
