I went to an interview for this company in the month of June, after I was recruited by a current staff member. During the interview the owner named Elsy, asked me if I had any kids, and was I on any publlic assitance like welfare, or food stamps. I answered her, yes I have kids and no I am not on any asssitance, but was confused on why she asked me that, so I asked her, and she stated that she previously had a employee who stole from her who was a minority, single parent and was on welfare, and she didn't want to hire someone who would still from her or be undependable again. I took offense to her comments and told here that my race, and parent status has nothing to do with my ability to perform. Elsy told me that I could make $4,000, per month and that she would pay me a base salery of 500.00 per pay period.

I accepted the job, as a assistant or person in training. A week later she told me that I would be selling, and made me a insurance broker without a license. Elsy told me to learn about how to be an insurance broker and get my broker license when I can, but not during the work week.

I eventually took classes for the license and was offically licensed to transact insurance in Nov. My salery of 500.00 per pay period was never given to me. If Elsy thought that I came back from lunch a 2 mins. late, she would subtrract 25 dollars from my pay. Elsy never notified anyone of her subtracting money from you pay; therefore, I could work 45 hours per week, and only make 250.00 because she felt like ohly paying you that amount. I dealt with racial remarks, threats, and a very hostile work environment for four months.

Eventually I terminated my employment, never making what she promised I would and acutally documented that I would make.

Prior to leaving Elsy and her son Ray hired more undocumented, non licensed employees, to transact insuance without notifying them of the requirement to be licensed.

The entire job is a scam and I should have known it from the beging, but now I am left bitter, and upset.

#1 Owner of Company

Ex Employee lies to Employer

AUTHOR: Mclure Insurance - Tustin (U.S.A.)

When Nikita was hired her resume was quite impressive. A college graduate and quite sharp in personality. She had gone to school and miraculously passed her state exam. I have personally trained over 25 agents in my twelve years of experience and I can honestly say that Nikita was by far the most difficult I have ever seen. There are not many agents who will train someone with no experience. But I believe in giving people opportunities to learn. Sometimes when you are trying to do good it comes back and bites you. There is no better case than with this person here.

The first problem I had was with her spelling. Even with spell check on the computer, there was hardly a single document that was printed without mispellings. She could not retain anything I was showing her. She would forget simple instructions within the same day of showing her! Her penmanship was so bad that she couldn't even read her own writing when she took notes. Her inability to work cost me thousands of dollars and countless hours to repair. I regret trying to give her an opportunity here. It's no wonder her insurance license has expired over a year ago. However as a blessing in disguise since her employment, I now have a very strict testing procedure and writing test for applicants. No longer will a good looking resume and a good personality with a degree get someone through here. Thanks Nikita....
