I made the mistake of dealing with this scam artist a few years ago. A California pharmacist arranged through him to have a series of articles written. He hired me to write them, and I did - 17 of them. 

Once finished, I invoiced him for the cost, $1,000 +. First, he argued about some of the costs. Second, he had "sent the invoice up to Bookkeeping." That was one excuse, quickly followed by a variety of others. At last it became clear that he had no intention of paying, had never had any such intention.

Since I had no contract with this character, I was forced to appeal to the pharmacist for payment.  Thankfully, she did pay, so I am luckier than others who, I have heard, despite a contract, and even with a judgment against him, have never collected what is owed them.

Rex changes his company name as other men change their socks, as soon as one gets "dirty."  But he's still Rex, the scam artist. Stay as far away from him as possible!
