    Corporate Advocacy Program
I placed an order with Trinity Institue of Christian Counseling for a Ministry ID card in October 2008 and paid for it with my credit card for $20.95 and placed a new order for the same card with photo on February 13, 2009 and this time paid $30.95 and to this date I have received nothing. I called them and was told by the lady answering the phone that a card was sent out and I would have it by end of the following week, well that week ended last Friday, 2/20/2009 and attempted to call them again three times this week and they won't answer the phone during their stated business hours:

Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling
Box 270
Harvest, AL 35749
1 (800) 683-5285
M-F 7AM-3PM Central

At this point nothing they tell me can be trusted as I have been promised several times but never keep their promises. I have been in active ministry for 23 years and found this to be very disheartening. I think this operation is a scam.

Pretty Sad

AUTHOR: Dr. Tom - Marietta (U.S.A.)

I think it pretty sad when people file something such as this but don't come back in and put a response when it's taken care of. I personally know of this situation because I was involved in it. Rev. Greene has gotten his material a long time ago but failed to come back and say so. I have been involved with Trinity and Dr. Weyant for almost three years now as part of this ministry. When Rev. Greene ordered his material and then posted this he failed to mention that the ministry had a server crash and MANY orders were lost. It took over 3 months and many Hundreds of volunteer hours to get things back online and up with a new company. There were emails and postings placed to inform EVERYONE that this had happened. Rev. Greene was told this. He was asked to be patient with the ministry to get things back up and in order. His order was filled but did he come in here and say so? No. He is one of many hundreds of orders that come in and go out. This happened, as I said during a server crash, and a migration over to another hosting company. On the website it clearly states "Please allow 4-6 weeks for orders to be processed." Well, honestly during this period it took a lot longer and also some orders were lost. But when notified, Dr. Weyant immediately went in and started, besides also getting the migration done, worked to get the order taken care of. You are always going to find someone who is impatient with you among the thousands that you deal with. Trinity Institute is one of the most Godly ministries that you will find. There to help those that have the calling of God to follow His leading. I am glad that Rev. Greene got his order, but it would have been nice if he would have told the whole story AND come back and reported that he got his order.

Mail Order Churches and Diploma Mills

AUTHOR: Kirk - Iowa City (U.S.A.)

I have done some checking into Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling, United New Testament Church International, and its affiliates by contacting Secretary of State in Alabama and found
neither of them are INCORPORATED 2] they do not publicize a physical street address; 3) their
telephone is hooked up to an Automated Answering System.

1 - i contemplated enrolling into their school but did not because;

2 - since they are not incorporated and do not publicize an actual physical address, they can ;

3 - take your money and run and you won't get what you paid for;

4 - if a person needs to file a lawsuit to recover money, its hard to serve legal notices and lawsuit papers upon a po box; but is far easier to do so upon a physical address;

5 - when i have telephones Trinity Institute NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE, every time i called,
all i got was AN ANSWERING MACHINE, very disapointing !

6 - they are not ACCREDDITTED by an outside agency, they created their own accreditting agency, and accredditted themself ! This is a ploy many mail order churches and diploma mills use to make the public think, okay they're accredditted, so i'll enroll into that school !

7 - Always CHECK OUT the ACREDDITTING AGENCIES or else you can become misled.

Frauds abound

AUTHOR: Revmike - Montevallo (U.S.A.)

I almost never do this because I dislike ordination and diploma mills but you have been through enough. Check out the aticministries.org site. If you like what you find click the contact button. Make sure you mention I sent you through this site.

God bless you.

They are accredited, employees are volunteers

AUTHOR: Pastor Mimi - Waurika (USA)

Kirk:

You didn't check threir accrediting otherwise you would have found out that

Trinity United New Testament Church is accredited by United Evangelical Church of America, Inc.,

I also have never had a problem with them.

Many Pastors in some states in the United Sates (and all of Canada) who received their credentials from The Church of Universal Life are not allowed to marry couples or in some cases even give last rites! Why??? because the Church of Universal Life does not perform hands on graduation ceremonies!

Update

AUTHOR: Rev. greene - Griffin (USA)

I did after three months finally receive my credential but I had already found a ministry who honors their promises in a timely manner.  I have no anger for this group it's just they are extremely slow about filling orders.  I like Trinity Institute, I just hope they can improve filling orders in a timely manner to allow those wishing to be part to have what they asked for and paid for.  Tom Galt and his group have good intentions, it's just their orders are filled slow.
