Shoppers Advantage, Travelers Advantage, Trilegiant Corp., Cendant Corp. popped up on a chase bank, NA website, ad was not known to chase bank security Trumbull Connecticut

was on a chase bank, NA website. a shoppers advantage ad for a trial membership and free digital camera for $1 appeared. the ad stated that trilegiant was not affiliated with chase bank, but that "chase has a financial interest in product placement" so i called chase bank and their security could not find any info on the ad for a trial membership in shoppers advantage or travelers advantage [which appeared upon our applying for the shoppers advantage]. they also did not know about the travelers advantage offer for a trial membership and free $20 exxon gas card. but the $1 charge from trilegiant/shoppers advantage had already appeared as pending on our chase credit card acct. the site triggered an IE8 error but was not identified as a phishing site. i could not determine if the site was NOT legit, however, chase bank did not know about the linked trial offer/ad from trilegiant/shoppers adv.
