Comcast Cable Company destruction of property Texas City Texas

I cancelled comcasts services after being rediculously overcharged.

I got a call that I needed to return the cable box or pay a fee. The comcast store wasnt located in Galveston b/c of ike and I had to take time and drive to texas city.

I turned in the box and had proof that my account was cleared. As Im leaving the comcast store, I get a call saying that I had to pay a late bill of $350 and a late fee for the box.

How can that be b/c the clerk inside said my account was cleard. The man on the line started to raise his voice at me and I went back into the store and told the clerk there my problem.

"give me the phone." The clerk said and talked to the man on the phone."No, the account is clear a few minutes ago and there are no late fees that need to be paid." THe man on the phone was disagreeing with the clerk but he said 'No your systems are messed up and out of date."
He hands the phone to me and says 'your account is cleared dont worry about it, he's just stupid."

I'm out of the house and around 6 pm I get a call from my neighbor saying that a comcast man has just cut the cables from my house. I didnt understand and rushed home. The cable box, that sits outside the house, the wires were cut and yanked out. Some of the wires that were 'missing' were just left at my door matt. When I went inside the house, the wires that were 'yanked out, was done so hard, that it pulled the tv off the stand ait lay broken on the floor.

I called the cops b/c that was distruction of property.
I called comcast and told them what the comcast employee did but was told 'maybe you should of paid your bills."
"I did and the account is cleared."

"Deal with it."
STAY FAR away from comcast..its not worth the money.
