Beware of this outfit. They are a Comcast Marketing Company that goes door to door to sign up customers for Comcast Services. They do not pay the people they hire, they will lie to customers at the front door to make a sale. The leaders have limited or little ethical values and are crooks. The scam is pretty simple. They run ads in craigslist under sales and sales and marketing, promise big money, have no interview process, no training, and churn people. The sysytem is designed to feed off of the young and innocent people looking for work. once these new hires make a few sales, they fire the person, and hold thier pay for 120 to 180 days, leaving the new hire to have worked for free. They claim to pay $200.00 for training which never happens. Here is how they operate. They set up shop in office complexes by renting a suite, use laptops, lease a conference room, have no business license and are operating outside of the scope of any and all local and state laws. They pay no sales tax, or B&O Tax. (Hello State of Washington and Department of Revenue)
Their current office scam is being run out of an office next to Keller Williams in Federal Way off of 1st way south. What is really amazing is that COMCAST allows this. They have a a sales meeting every Thursday morning where they all brag about how much they lie to customers to make a sale. They are proud of it and are not afraid to admit it. They give the reps these orange vests, a comcast shirt and hat, and approach the homeowner with some made up line such as "Has anyone from Comcast been by to talk to you about or fiber optic upgrade" or "I am from COMCAST and we are doing a Billing Audit and, I see you are paying this much...etc" or " I am from COMCAST doing a customer service call and I want to make sure all of your service is ok". Then the snake oil pitch begins on how they can save you money and they have rates that Comcast does not even have and other distorted facts about COMCAST. They are not doing a an official COMCAST billing audit, not official COMCAST customer service reps trying to help resolve issues. When a homeowners does bring up a service issue, the reps just turns the issue back to "call 1-800 comcast"
What does that say about the real COMCAST? It's really Crazy. COMCAST gives these crooks all of your information, yes, you Mr. and Mrs Consumer, They have your name, address, telephone number and how much money you are paying them each month. If you see someone walking around in your neighboorhood with a orange COMCAST vest, COMCAST hat and shirt, be very careful and hide your wallett. Take a look at the picture on the ID badge they hang around their neck, you may be surprised that the picture on the ID does not match the face of the person standing in front of you!
Take a look at the ad that runs in criagslist.(posted below) The creataors of this rip off machine are even dumb enough to put keywords at the bottom of the ad that even point out that they are a rip-off by using their own names in the bottom of ad and using the word "rip off report". Take a look for youself. If you end up working for this outfit, you will get what they think you desrve. Nothing. Oh and by the way. The working hours are not 2-8pm, that is another lie.. and if you miss a meeting they will charage you $100.00. (like it matters, because you won't get paid anyway)
